The Last Bit.

The picture above was taken in my first week in Al-Ain. The UAE-University put me up the local Hotel Intercontinental for that first week. The shot is taken from the balcony (IIRC I was on the 3rd floor) of my room. I recall setting this shot up I had just bought a beefing tripod for my camera and (actually it was for a video camera but it has a great head and it is close enough I can make it work for regular still photography) testing it out. I remember sitting on that porch smoking stogies and drinking cognac from the minibar.
