The Gala Eight-Ball Awards Ceremony here at Blogger Beer!
Wow!
I almost was in despair, I have not awarded an Eight-Ball award now for some days. Then comes Tom Van Elzen snatching glee from the jaws of despair. Yes, Tom Van Elzen you are today's recipient of the The Eight-Ball Award! Congratulations.
I love his abuse of the Robin Hood legend. Robin Hood attacked a government that over-taxed the people. Is the environment a policy? Of course if the President were putting more restrictions on the use of coal for energy, Mr. Van Elzen would be equally upset because the rise in prices would mean the President is helping his buddies fleece the populace.
Ruined medicare? Now its social security's turn? Heck the only I am see myself collecting social security money is when I dine with older friends collecting SS and they spring for lunch dinner or whatever. Of course the Democrats want to put SS in a lock box, funny thing is they broke open the piggy bank in the first place.
Tom Van Elzen's Post Crescent Phone call to the Appleton Post Crescent (Sunday April 3):

Tom Van Elzen's Post Crescent Phone call to the Appleton Post Crescent (Sunday April 3):
REVERSE ROBIN HOOD: It’s a sad fact. The party that controls the media controls the political system. The Democrats have to come up with a solution to combat the lies of the talking heads who push the administration’s distorted policies like the environment. The president wants to take restrictions off of coal-burning power plants, putting more mercury in our waters and dirtying our air. He also wants to cut programs for the less fortunate, which is a Robin Hood in reverse policy of stealing from the poor and giving to the wealthy. They’ve already ruined Medicare, and now they want us to trust them with our Social Security. It’s sinful the way the president uses religion to drive his policies at the expense of the environment and to prey on the less fortunate.
