This Has to be Embarrassing!

Some years ago a physics prof wrote a paper that was rubbish, which is what he set out to do. The amazing part was he got this paper of rubbish published in some "scholarly" journal.

It has happened again. This time a team of students from MIT wrote up a program to generate a paper and submitted three such creations. They too managed to get one of their submissions published. They should have kept quiet! Can you imagine walking up on stage to present it to a conference and say: "Actually, it is all a pile of rubbish. A computer program created this." I have images of a Monty-Python skit in my head.

Seems the wisdom of old is true even in the counter-intuitive halls of higher learning.

If you can not dazzle them with your brilliance, baffle them with your BS!
