Who Is Hiding?

The race in Ohio for congress is over. The Stealth Democrat trying the Kerry Play fails to win.

Al-Pazeera says
Democrats had viewed the race as a bellwether for 2006, saying even a strong showing by Hackett in such a heavily GOP district would give them a lift. Hackett didn't rule out another run next year.

The story above also quotes Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill):
"There's no safe Republican district. You can run, but you cannot hide," said Rep. Rahm Emanuel (news, bio, voting record) of Illinois, chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Mr. Emanuel, who is doing the hiding? Mr. Hackett hid is affiliation with the Democratic party. In fact, he tried "The Kerry Play" and failed. If Mr. Hackett had been more up front with his affiliation and more importantly his platform he would have lost by a larger margin.

Mr. Hackett Despite calling President Bush an SOB, more dangerous than OBL, used a speech from the President in his campaign advertising. Hey, what a strategy!

Keep trying "The Kerry Play", it may work sooner or later.
