Attacking the President's Critics.

Now that it seems the Plame thingamcdooodooo is about to finish up the idea that the President's critics should not dare be criticized is once again being taken as a given.

Why?

Why does Joe Wilson IV get to attack the President and when challenged everyone oooohhhhh-ooooohh attack dogs, digital brown shirts etc etc etc. Does not the first amendment apply equally to ones critics AND supporters?

Challenge the counter-point do not act aghast the President's supporters respond in kind.
