Nevermind the Flooded Busses!

Paul at Wizbang finds overhead imagery from NOLA that he claims were unflooded and could have been used to get people from the Superdome to a place more accommodating.

The hurricane blew in Monday morning and this picture was not taken until Wednesday. They did not finish evacuating the Superdome until Saturday.

To put a fine point on it... These were not private buses. They did not belong to a neighboring parish. These buses belonged to Mayor Ray Nagin. He could have used them at any time. He didn't.

Wow, if true, this convicts Mayor Nagin and his administration of gross incompetence. One defense people have made with the other bus photo is that what about the drivers? Yeah? Surely NOLA had bus drivers about, no? Who drives the busses when the sun shines? What? Can't get your bus drivers organized and going, why then expect a corps of national guardsmen in the day after?
