An Interesting Article.

I wonder if this is the same article that Lucas at Wild Wisconsin was talking about? I will not comment fully on it at the moment as I am tired and despondent (the Packers are 0-4 or did I tell you that already?). Anyway the article talks about the anti-insurgency campaign carried out in the Filipines and what went right with that and how the lessons from 100 years ago can be applied once again.

Of course not all the lessons can be dusted off but there are some key lessons that are shiney and are working to good effect. Same then as now, the insurgencies were not working to defeat our military but to defeat our will.
