Owen's Voice is Growing!

Owen Robinson of Boots and Sabers may like to know is article on the Taxpayer Protection Amendment was discussed on WTAQ out of Green Bay. Owent talks about why the TPA is a good idea. He also anticipates the radio ad currently out the TPA

What about the children?

Over the next few weeks, we are going to hear every group in Wisconsin that feeds at the government teat spew forth drivel about how the WTPA will "gut" government. We will hear how the children will not be educated, criminals will run rampant because there wonÂ’t be any police, houses will burn down because there wonÂ’t be any firefighters, and on and on and on.

The ad says we should be calling on our officials to restrict spending rather than coming up with silly statutory fixes. This is addressed by Owen in his article and is easily swatted down. The real irony in that advertisement is, that I highly suspect the group funding that advertisement is the usual suspects screaming for more and more government spending and higher taxation.
