- BUSH WILL HOST CLINTON [NOT CARTER] ON TRIP TO POPE FUNERAL... I am no fan of Clinton but I have more respect for Clinton than I do Carter. This is a well deserved slap to Carter!
- ABCNEWS PETER JENNINGS LUNG CANCER This is the headline. Peter, I think you do the nation a disservice in the job you do, but none-the-less you will be in our thoughts and prayers. May God give you the strength and courage you need. Be not afraid!
- IT'S ON: Blair calls election... This should be interesting. Tony Blair has been sooooo right on Iraq I find it hard to oppose him even though he is wrong on almost everything else. If the Tories had their act together and took a decent position on Iraq I would support them. We will see.
- U.S. to Tighten Border Controls by 2008... Yeah-yeah-yeah. Talk is cheap.
- Congressman calls for criminalizing TV indecency... Just turn it off, Congressman.
- Iraqi Reality Show Features Captured Insurgents... "Reality Show" goes a little too far. They just put the goons on the tube and they make public confessions and are belittled. Of course human rights groups are flocking to the aid of the goon terrorists. Why don't they concentrate on the real victims of reality tv? Like the American audience who suffer the likes of The Bachelor and similar?
- STUDY: When, Where, Why Tornadoes Strike... I have a hard time believing the useful predictive power will improve much more than what it is.
- FONDA BOOK: Ted Turner Cheated On Me First Month... Oh, how quaint! I didn't think those living in the "reality based communities" thought marital fidelity important. I am shocked Mr. Turner did not take his marriage vows seriously.

- UPDATE: Border Patrol Says Minutemen Disrupting Normal Operations... My guess is they are now having to work and can not read their magazines or drink their coffee. More seriously I guess this would happen to a certain extent. I am sure border agents have checked them out suspecting them of being illegals.
- Founder Pleased With Media Coverage... I have yet to hear of a serious run in with anybody. Good!
- LARGEST TV EVENT 'IN HISTORY' This is heartening to know, that faith still does matter in the world. Pope John Paul II made it relevant again! The TV Event they are talking about is the death of Pope John Paul II.
- Teen Will Not Face Charges For Handing Out Mints At School; suspended for 10 days... Wow! Talk about zero-tolerance! I wonder what they would have done to him if was handing out Snickers bars. Not only all the sugar, chocolate and fats but peanuts to boot!
- Rabid Bat Bites College Student... I hope he is getting rabies shots immediately. Otherwise he is in danger of rabies which is nasty not only because of the disease itself but the doctors may decide not to even try to help him!
- Lawmaker wants list of companies exporting US oil... A know nothing attack on the oil industry. Oil is bought sold on a global market, even if we kept it all here, it would not affect the price.
