New People's Army Talks Big!

The NPA apparently is warning GMA to step down or end up like Nicolae Ceausescu, that is dead after a farce trial.

According to Gregario Rosal:

"The main issue now is how to speed up the ouster of (Arroyo)," Gregorio Rosal, a spokesman for the Communist Party - the rebels' political wing - told DZMM radio. "What we see is that if (Arroyo) does not resign ... she most probably will be forcefully booted out by the people, and the worst thing is she may meet the same fate as Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu and his wife, Elena, who were toppled and executed in the streets."

I think the NPA has the will do this (in revenge for a fellow Commie getting it) they have not the means. I think GMA will survive this situation very much weakened but survive none the less. I think most people really don't care, they have more immediate things on their minds.
