Another Oklahoma Bombing?

There are stories floating around the blogosphere that a bomb was exploded at the Oklahoma Sooners vs Kansas State game last night.

Little Green Footballs mentioned this story earlier as well. Have you heard anything about it via the MSM?

While reports are early and sketchy this is what I take as reliable. One person was killed in the bombing and other bombs were found nearby. There is of course other bits and pieces but those I do not regard as reliable enough to report. Authorities are not characterizing it as a terrorist attack but a solo suicide.

If it is true that multiple bombs were found, then the "solo suicide" story does not fit. I do place a fair amount of credence in the story as the AP reports

A police bomb squad detonated explosives found at the site of the blast. The area near the stadium was searched by bomb-sniffing dogs.

I don't buy the bit about it being an attempt at solo-suicide, one bomb was enough and there were multiple bombs involved. Go to the Flopping Aces story and read all the bits. Quite a few of the bits are early reports generated by a nighttime event. General Patton while not disregarding such reports entirely treated them with sketpicism until confirmed by more accurate reports later on. The problem is I have a feeling this story is going to be hidden from public view as much as possible.

Update:
10/2/2005 9:14pm CDT. Solo suicide does appear to be the situation in Oklahoma. All sources are retracting & correcting the reports of a second controlled demolition. The victim is identified and I will not give him the publicity it seems he was hoping this would give him. I am glad I did not repeat all of the stories from Flopping Ace.

Before I finish this update just remember Bali was bombed again.
