USS Cole, Five Years Ago Today.
Today is the fifth anniversary of the USS Cole bombing.
Do not call the bombing of the USS Cole an act of terror, for it wasn't it was an act of war. Now, many of my fellow conservatives believe nothing was done in response for this attack we can not truly know that. Perhaps clandestine activity was launched by the Clinton Whitehouse, activity we can not be told about it. Perhaps, perhaps not.
A sailor from Fond Du Lack Wisconsin was killed in that attack. While notable since I am from Wisconsin sixteen other Americans died with Engineman 2nd Class Marc Ian Nieto in the attack. To all of those sailors Rest in peace and may the light of God perpetually shine upon them.
