A Fine for Bill Bennett?

Certain congress critters are calling for governmental censure of Bill Bennett whether it be a fine or similar sort of GOVERNMENTAL action.

First off most of them are lying about what Bill said. Jerry Bader is reporting that some congressman (he thinks it was Jesse Jackson Jr.) as saying Mr. Bennett was expressing his genocidal fantasy. Huh? Bill Bennett is a staunch opponent of abortion and was not coming out for the abortion of anyone.

Don't we have this thing called the first amendment to our constitution? A thing that bars the government from punishing speech?
