Nordlinger Notes...

In his periodic Impromptus column some e-mails from readers. One of those focuses on a popular icon by the name of Eric Cartmann. Another, e-mail says Mel Gibson for his comments should be considered for a Nobel Peace Prize:
Dear Jay:
Gibson said that Jews cause all wars. Shouldn't this make him eligible for the Nobel Peace Prize? Or at least a tenured spot on Columbia University's Middle Eastern Studies faculty?

Hehehe point on. That is the ironic thing about the Gibson flap, if he said some of the things he said while sitting in front of a university classroom the left would be flocking to his defense.
