I find it amazing how the ISLAMIC FASCISTS have no need to disguise their intent. They are completely open about their intent. Fortunately for them our media and left are completely willing to ignore it and to explain it away.

Lebanon for all its groveling to the Hezbolalah parasite has bought nothing from Syria and Assad speculates (hah!) that the Lebanese government is not long for the world. Iranian president Mr. Ahmednuttyjihad doesn't even try to hide Iran's desire to wipe Israel off of the map and the left just tut-tuts us who take him at his word.

Bin Laden can talk openly about open warfare against the USA and its citizens and can even talk openly about re-conquering Spain and no one hardly notices or takes him seriously. In fact, at the slightest push Spain collapses like a sand castle near the seashore waves.

In fact, the elected leaders of the left try as hard as they can to tell us there is no real problem. We can go back to BJs in the oval office and DJ bubbles on Wall Street.

The Democracy Mistake

Many on the left and my fellows on the right mistake the popular choice of government with the justice of that government. The election is not key the governing philosophy is.

Hitler was elected to his job, did that make him a good guy? I know the election thing was early on and then he usurped powers but still the point holds.

Many will say we really don't uphold democracy because of our opposition to Hamas and to a certain extent our sitting on our hands on the Israeli vs. Hezbolalah conflict. They say Lebanon is a democracy and therefore we should have come to its defense and/or not allowed it to be attacked by Israel.

Of course, Israel was not attack Lebanon they were attacking Hezbolalah and the Hezbolalah support structures. However, I have much more faith in Israeli democracy than Lebanese, especially when the Lebanese version is infected with the fascists parasite of Iran sponsored Hezbolalah. Hamas has the same problem.

It isn't the manner which a government gets into power its the way they act. Is it in the Palestinian's interest to destroy Israel? It certainly seems that way but we all know what would happen. Israel would be gone Palestine would wallow in its misery and then they would lash out at someone else.

Sometime ago I commented on a debate about this between Daniel Pipes and Marc Reuel Garrecht. At the time I was leaning towards Marc's view, but I am beginning to come around to Daniel Pipes view of this situation. Democracy must be built on a foundation built of self-chosen virtue and liberal belief, without it you have little more than an angry mob.

The most interesting comment that was uttered came from Marc. It but it went something like this: There can not be a Thomas Jefferson without a Martin Luther. Marc hopes the Islamic Martin Luther shows up soon and also believes it will not be quite as bad for the House of Islam as it was for Christianity and Germany when Martin Luther came onto the scene.

Khaled Centanni.

More than a few on the left hoped for the death of Khaled Centanni. In fact some of the language I have seen used by those people sound remarkably similar to the sentiments of Olaf's & Steve's kidnappers. Fortunately, they both are alive. However, it is reported other journalists in the Palestinian territories are not so lucky.

They are not foreign correspondents but local reporters. Who mourns for them? Certainly not those who hoped for Steve & Olaf's death.

Remember, those who say they are peace activists are often no such thing. Its not they oppose war they just oppose a victory by Liberalism.

As Wretchard's blog points out US & Western forces listen to criticism and will not retaliate with mortal force to those who criticize them. However, with others this is not the case. As the bloggers at Iraq the Model once noted criticism of Moqtada Al-Sadr can be a very dangerous to one's life, and it didn't take Moqtada's knowledge just one of his followers to hear the criticism and the follower just might...kill. It takes bravery to criticize let alone stop such a foe whereas the cost of criticizing the West is much less.

Khatami's Visit

Is an interesting sort of event. Some say it will be good for him to visit and for us to listen to what he says and see what he is really about. I think some people are expecting a shoe banging on the podium moment. It will not happen and even if it does then Ahmednuttyjihad's statement about censorship will apply. The media will not report on it.

In fact I fully expect the MSM to be in full softball/gush mode. What a nice man, very polite, deeply spiritual etc. Ugh!

Looking at the currency markets one can see the Philippino Peso broke the 51 to the dollar (USA dollar) barrier and closed at 50.90 pesos to the dollar.

Overjoyed At Being Wrong!

Steve Centanni & Olaf Wiig are free. I thought for certain we would see at least one (perhaps two) new Internet ROP snuff videos.

Dr. Rusty Shackleford of The Jawa Report fame was very pessimistic about this event happening. I was too.

Well, I am sure he is as overjoyed at being wrong as I am.

I wonder how the Krazy Kos Kiddies (and their ilk) are reacting. I am guessing with dismay that the "Faux-News" reporter & cameraman were released unharmed. I am guessing quite a few will speculate it was a Rovian plot of some sort.

Ahhhh this is much better.

My home PC suffered a motherboard death a couple of weeks ago. Now it is back up with a brand new motherboard (would it be a step-motherboard?), 256 MB more RAM, and all of the data seems safe!

Now I can forget the lesson of backing up! Hahahahahahahaaha. When I get time my pix will be the first to be burned and then the rest of my data.

So it seems is the policy of the "peacekeepers" in Southeren Lebanon.

All the Euros who were demanding a cease fire and promising action have now backed off on action. Now we have another UN resolution pending. Wow, does anyone think that will do any better?

My Only Comments On This Matter.

That is on the apprehension of a suspect (i.e. John Mark Karr) in the Jonbenet Ramsey murder.

Sounds like there is plenty of reason to doubt his guilt in this case but as is often stated he is knowledgeable of details only the murderer could have known, but of course we all know some of what is attributed to him is said to contradict the autopsy.

However, I have this feeling if not Jonbenet Ramsey than they will be able to connect other brutal crimes to Mr. Karr. They got him, and he is back in the states and I would not be a bit surprised if some crime labs and detectives are working a lot of overtime on account of him.

Many of us want to know and our press is all to eager to deliver up the advertisement viewers. I sympathize with Jonbenet's family, but I do not wish to be a gawker. I saw a spectacle in Appleton this weekend, I found out what was (sorta) going on and left not wishing to be a...gawker.

On the Fox News show Special Report Fred Barnes notes a soldier may shoot a terrorist in the head but we dare not tap a phone conversation the terrorist is having with someone in the states. Absurd no?

There is a serious constitutional question here but not the one many may think. It is the courts and congress trying to wrest Commander in Chief powers from the president.

I Find Your Lack of Faith Disturbing.

Wretchard at The Belmont Club replays Alexander Solzhenitsyn's speech at Harvard where Mr. Solzhenitsyn levels a criticism at Western society that still applies.

Solzhenitsyn charges the West has lost its courage and then goes onto to note that is a symptom of a greater sickness. That sickness is an OD of materialism. Materialism as properly understood, not as in Madonna's Material Girl where someone likes to buy and obtain material possessions.

Materialism is a worldview that says all that is real is scientific fact, things we can touch or feel. Even if we can not actually touch or feel electrons the concept is one that belongs to a materialistic worldview. In fact Solzhenitsyn says this hardcore obsession with materialism is also a symptom that is caused by removing the spiritual from one's outlook.

The removal of the spiritual causes man to place himself at the center of the universe. The person is not subservient to others or to another higher being but all are subservient to him and his whims. The unbridled excesses of Western society are condemned by Mr. Solzhenitsyn. Many leftists may be nodding along thinking solely of those who earn unimaginable wealth but there are other excesses as well. Mere material satisfaction we all know does not guarantee happiness or well being.

The most important observation is:

The Middle Ages had come to a natural end by exhaustion, becoming an intolerable despotic repression of man's physical nature in favor of the spiritual one. Then, however, we turned our backs upon the Spirit and embraced all that is material with excessive and unwarranted zeal. This new way of thinking, which had imposed on us its guidance, did not admit the existence of intrinsic evil in man nor did it see any higher task than the attainment of happiness on earth. It based modern Western civilization on the dangerous trend to worship man and his material needs. Everything beyond physical well-being and accumulation of material goods, all other human requirements and characteristics of a subtler and higher nature, were left outside the area of attention of state and social systems, as if human life did not have any superior sense.

The most interesting idea of this observation is the fact of how the Western world swung from one wretched extreme to another.

Lebanese officials are taking a "don't tell don't ask' policy with regards to Hezbolalah weaponry. Does this surprise anyone? I assume the rest of the Hezbolalah protectors (euphamistically called peacekeepers i.e. the troops moving in on the UN resolution) will take the same position.

What An Idiot.

I have Hannity and Colmes on right now. They had point & counter-point on discussing the use of profiling against terrorism.

Counter-point was a screaming idiot (literally). He couldn't keep his mouth quite and every time Point said that factors such as nationality, age, and religion all play a part in trying to pinpoint terrorists, Counter-point would scream like Point was trying to lynch all Muslims.

Mr. Hannity asked Counter-Point if it made more sense to search a 82 year old Lutheran grandmother from Grand Forks or a 23 year old guy from Gaza. Counter-Point would scream "I'm not playing that game".

I remember reading in a book. How about 9-10 young Arab men were fingered for greater scrutiny and how those warnings were ignored. It was not just the fact they were Arabs and young men that caused those computer programs to suggest extra scrutiny, but it certainly was a factor.

Lieberman Is Still Running.

Yeah its old news.

Many people are claiming Lieberman's independent run is somehow undemocratic.

What hooey. Since when does a person need the blessing of a primary to run for office? It is up to the parties to choose their candidates and it is up to the candidates to abide by those wishes.

Now, if Neddy (that's Neddley actually Ned Lamont) wins the general election and Lieberman launches an extra-legal attempt to oust Neddy (that's Neddley actually Ned Lamont) then I am with you calling Joe Lieberman an anti-democrat.

There is nothing democratic or undemocratic about primaries. In fact I detest primary elections and prefer caucuses because its the people who bust their tails for the party that should decide who runs. Primaries seem to me to be nothing more than election-lite where the party attempts to run a "pre-season" event.

As has often been pointed out many who whine and moan about Lieberman running as an independent have been urging John McCain to do the same and were hoping for a McCain independent run in 2000.

Israel Vs. Hezbolalah & Iran & Syria.

Well, the Israel vs. Hezbolalah (& Iran & Syria) fight is over for the moment. Anyone who thinks peace will reign supreme over the Levant is nuts (for lack of a better word).

The Olmert government is fatally wounded and is likely to be ousted in the not too distant future. Wretchard notes a Wikipedia entry:

I don't think the comment is too speculative. I believe Mr. Netanyahu will reclaim the prime minstership of Israel. He has been speaking of the danger of Islamic radicalism for sometime, is he the Churchill of our age? That last comment is speculative in the extreme.

How about the rest of the fallout? Well I do believe it isn't quite as bad as some say and it certainly doesn't meet up to the levels the spinners have be raising it to. You had to know anything short of new governments being empowered in Lebanon, Syria, and Iran they would proclaim victory.

However, I am pessimistic about the results. Hezbolalah isn't seriously impeded from rebuilding itself. If you think Lebanese, French & UN troops are going to stop the Hezbolalahs from doing what they will, well you are nuts. The Hezbolalahs MAY be impeded from constructing conspicuous sites near the Israeli border but they will be certain to harass the Israelis on their border.

The Israeli government bungled it and were hesitant. While it is easier to lay the blame with the governmental leaders than it is with the soldiers and officers of the IDF I feel the blame lays with the Olmert government. They hesitated and were indecisive putting soldiers in, taking them out, putting them in, taking them out. Olmert's government tried to bomb the Hezbolalahs into submission and as CNN found out the Hezbolalahs take this extremely personal, they hate Jews not Zionism or Israel but Jews.

Destroying Hezbolalah.

Quite a few people have said it is impossible to destroy Hezbolalah.

I wonder what they would have said about Nazism? It wasn't a small effort but it was done.

I suppose some may say Nazism is still alive and well amongst skinhead types and the like, but its days as a significant player on the world stage were put to an end in 1945.

Hezbolalah is currently a world stage actor. The longer we wait to stunt Hezbolalah the more expensive it will become.

Lets say we split the middle, all say "There is no god but Allah and Mohd is his prophet" three times, pray five times a day, make at least one trip to Mecca in our lifetimes, give zakat, and fast every Ramadan. Oh yeah we can then stone homosexuals and cover our women from head to toe in black, destroy our TVs and musical instruments, shall I go on?

Also I am shocked that politicians are politicizing issues, as if the left is above that. Always remember, division never happens without the consent of the other side.

Anonymous Reporting Programs.

Remember shortly after 9/11 how the government tried to set up anonymous tip programs for reporting those who looked like they were engaged in terrorist plots? Remember how many whined about how the program could be abused?

Well, in Europe similar programs are up and running. Furthermore they are being used to report on "internet hate crimes." Paul Belien of the Brussels Journal is regularly harassed by the Belgium authorities based on anonymous complaints. He is frequently visited by the Belgium police.

I have an CD entitled "Compact Disc" (yes the title is "Compact Disc" the LP was "Album", the cassette tape "Cassette Tape" if it were put out on 8-track it would be entitled "Eight Track Tape" etc) by Johnny Lydon aka Johnny Rotten. He has a song that indicts the creeping sensitivity. I need to dig that up, and recount the lyrics for you because every time I read a story like this that song rings through my head.

The worst said against this video is the Krazy Kos Kiddies are hallucinating a Hitler mustache under the nose of Howard Dean. I agree Howard Dean is a dangerous figure but they shouldn't go about equating Howard Dean or any other figure in our nation to Hitler.

Oh, that's what they think? Actually, they think the picture was photoshopped ala Reuters. However, LGF looks into this and can not reproduce the Kos exhibit, so he suspects from fauxtography by Kos and his minions.

Hezbolalah Propagandahah!

Found this conversation being passed on The Corner :

While on the Hezbollah side, it's really interesting — I [CNN's Anderson Cooper] was in Beirut, and they [Hezbolah] took me on this sort of guided tour of the Hezbollah- controlled territories in southern Lebanon that were heavily bombed. They are much cruder, obviously. They don't have the experience in this kind of thing. But they clearly want the story of civilian casualties out. That is their — what they're heavily pushing, to the point where on this tour I was on, they were just making stuff up. They had six ambulances lined up in a row and said, OK, you know, they brought reporters there, they said you can talk to the ambulance drives. And then one by one, they told the ambulances to turn on their sirens and to zoom off, and people taking that picture would be reporting, I guess, the idea that these ambulances were zooming off to treat civilian casualties, when in fact, these ambulances were literally going back and forth down the street just for people to take pictures of them.

Whitelaw Sausage Company Closed!

WHITELAW - Whitelaw Sausage Co. has closed its doors after more than 60 years, leaving its future unknown and customers without the famous Whitelaw Sausage wiener.

According to some local residents, the store closed due to financial difficulties. The owners, Randy and Ellen Winkler, were unavailable for comment.

Very sad. First of all there is all the nostalgia I have regarding this store. Eating lollies and drinking soda pops on its doorsteps (that's alright health nuts I was riding a bike and this was before video games) on the way to or from baseball games, practices, visiting friends etc.

Then my latest passion for the store centered on its meat products. Namely its wieners and bacon. The wieners were the best and so too the bacon. I will sorely miss those products.

For the last couple of years the Whitelaw Sausage Company participated in Appleton's Farmers Market, no wonder why they were not there this summer.

Update on Lieberman's Website.

Further reading of blogs on the matter of the alleged attack on the Lieberman website has me backing off on earlier claims of a DOS (Denial of Service) attack on the Lieberman website.

It is not in dispute by anyone discussing the matter that the hosting service Lieberman's team was using was cheaper than the one I use for my hosting. I find that incredible given the stature of this race, Lieberman's team should have known they needed a higher level service. Not only is it a statewide race but the eyes of the nation and to a certain extent the world were on this one.

What is in dispute? Whether the outage of the webpages was due to malice or a flood of visitors. Also, the claim by Kos that the Lieberman team did not pay their bills and got shut down on account of that. The (non-payment) claim by Kos is ludicrous it doesn't take 18 hours to fix that. OTOH, a well organized and sustained DOS attack is capable of taking down servers for extended periods of time. Example Jeff Goldstein's Protein Wisdom which spent quite a bit of time down due to a DOS attack.

Of course, it is also a reasonable hypothesis that being election day for a statewide race (especially one with the national attention this one has) that the cheap hosting service procured by the Lieberman campaign could not hack the load. Even the biggest of them get slowed down due to traffic floods, e.g. Little Green Footballs was very slow due to the traffic to the Reuters fauxtography story.

What do we need to determine the true nature of this event? Server logs and the like, information not likely to be divulged. However, the Lieberman campaign stated publicly it filed complaints with law enforcement authorities this tells me those logs are pointing at maliciousness. The pity is the only conclusion that will be accepted by the Krazy Kos Kiddies (KKKs) is a natural (and unexpected) surge in traffic, if those logs point to villianry the KKKs will (and are) say the site was a honeypot setup to smear them and their candidate, no doubt setup by Karl Rove.

DOS on Joe's Website.

Joe Lieberman's campaign website is experiencing a DOS attack. The Lamont campaign then apparently accused the Lieberman campaign of being behind on payments. How typical.

People complain about how divisive American politics has become. Lamont and his toadies are making it even worse.

Wow!

Google finally published a Google Earth client for linux systems. I donwloaded it and ran it. Wow! I am not happy with max resolutions for the area I reside in, but I was able to zoom in *_REAL_* close onto my sister-in-law's house in Manila & at the place we stayed at in Bagiou. However, the resolution over Barili isn't that great.

Up north I can make out the runs at Ski Brule but again, the resolution isn't the greatest. Its amazing how much golf courses and ski runs stand out, especially golf courses. However, in my times in the air golf courses always stood out, I shouldn't be surprised.

The Lebanese Army et al.

It is beginning to sound as if Lebanon is finally starting to think about pushing the Hezbolalahs out. However, I question their ability both militarily and politcally.

First the ability. I am skeptical that the Lebanese army can take on the Hezbolalahs. They are proving to be a tough foe and most Arab national armies seem only to be competent against unarmed citizenry. The Hezbolalahs I think would be able to take on the Lebanese army.

However, the more important questions are about Lebanon's will. Even tough Syria is officially out of Lebanon it still wields considerable influence in Beruit also the Hezbolalahs much like the Nazis are playing the political game as well and are in the Lebanese government.

Dassey Flip-Flops.

The accused accomplice of Steven Avery has recanted his testimony. However, I don't think his original testimony will be disallowed from trial and IIRC the police pretty much knew someone else was in on it so I think the confession will be shown to mesh very nicely with the forensic evidence.

These people are not the brightest people around. I would hate to be their lawyers (especially a court appointed lawyer) because both Avery & dash don't seem to listen to the advice they get from their attorneys. They probably figure that the lawyers are "college boys" with "no common sense".

The Reaction Not the Comments.

I am in a commentary discussion with a reader (as is always, I appreciate their reading my work and their comments even though I am at odds with them. The comments are written in a way that meaningful discussion can happen).

The discussion centers on the Mel Gibson drunk driving arrest.

I would not say I am not making light of his comments so much as the reaction to them. Quite clearly there are those in the leftist world of the American Academia who hold the very same opinions as Mr. Gibson does with respect to Jews. They are just as reprehensible coming from lauded academics as they are from Mr. Gibson. What disturbs me is the fact when such commentary comes from leftist academics the comments are at best ignored at worst earn harrumphs of agreement from many who now express disgust over Mr. Gibson's comments.

As was noted in this blog there is not a whole lot of difference between Mr. Gibson's comments & attitudes and those of all too many Nobel laureates.

One last note on this. President Ahmednuttyjihad says things much more vile and we are told by all too many that he really doesn't mean it, it's for internal Iranian consumption, etc. Why don't we see the same disgust expressed towards President Ahmednuttyjihad we see being expressed towards Mr. Gibson?

In his periodic Impromptus column some e-mails from readers. One of those focuses on a popular icon by the name of Eric Cartmann. Another, e-mail says Mel Gibson for his comments should be considered for a Nobel Peace Prize:

In less than six years, the Bush administration has done more damage than any other presidency. Look at his glorious record, folks.

First, we invade two countries that had nothing to do with the 9-11 attacks. Osama bin Laden and his followers that attacked the World Trade Centers were from Saudi Arabia and not from Afghanistan and Iraq.

Could it be that we invaded these two countries because one has the world's largest opium fields and the other because it has one of the world's largest oil reserves?

An interesting article for all to read in the June Readers Digest is titled "The $9 Billion Heist." While our troops are dying, crooks are getting rich on the war.

Fourth, the national debt has gone up from a little over $5 trillion to $8.4 trillion. As of today, that comes out to $28,132 each for every man, woman and child. We are a bankrupt nation.
Something must be done now because we will not survive another two and one-half years of this inept leadership.

Sigh, I do not see that our government has commandeered the means of production yet. Whenever the government lifts a finger someone is bound to make money. The cry about the national debt is the only point where Mr. Mares comes close to anything sensible, however I suppose Mr. Mare wants to fix that by confiscating wealth from those who have earned and produced it thereby removing incentive to risk and work.

Mr. Mares is one of those rare leftoids who is very dangerous to America. Some we can tolerate but I have little patience for those of Mr. Mares ilk. I grant to anyone the cause in Iraq is debatable (eminently so) but those who think the Taliban had nothing to do with 9/11 are dangerous, Mr. Mare also probably believes Hezbolalah had nothing to do with the current situation in Israel.

Lamont's Problem.

Ned Lamont running against Joe Lieberman for the Democratic senatorial nomination in Connecticut has a problem.

The people setting him up are crazy and he is just starting to discover that.

Recently one of his supporters a woman by the name of Jane Hamsher posted a photoshopped photo of Joe Lieberman in black face on the Huffandpuffington Post. The photo has since been removed.

Well according to Byron York here is what Mr. Lamont has to say on this:

"I don't know anything about the blogs. I'm not responsible for those. I have no comment on them."

Now, to be fair, it is one thing to hang out with a kook and another to direct a kook. However, we are always warned to be careful of who we hang out with. Mr. Lamont hangs out with questionable people.

Hezbolalah.

My cousin will call his son a sissy-la-la when his son is crying or acting out of line. Well think of that one whenever you see me use Hezbolalah.

Mistaken Thinking

Rush Limbaugh catches reporters from the Caliphate News Network (aka CNN) being amazed at how the Hezbolalahs really hate Jews. Not just Israel but really hate Jews. I mean they hate them all. In addition, Rush notes how down in the dumps the Caliphate News Network is they can not embed with the Hezbolalahs.

How many times have we heard the pointy headed intellectuals telling us not to take Ahmednuttyjihad literally as he is just speaking for internal consumption? Too many. Ahmednuttyjihad's latest pronouncement is that the simplest solution to the conflict between Israel and the Hezbolalahs is the final one wiping Israel off of the map. I am sure quite a few appeasing pointy-headed intellectuals will tut-tut us all for taking Ahmednuttyjihad literally. After all, President Ahmednuttyjihad is just like them and they would never mean such a thing, right?

Besides for the pointy-headed intellectuals getting too wrapped up on President Ahmednuttyjihad's threats to destroy Israel distracts from their fight against the true locus of evil in the world.

The Wisconsin Driver.

The wife and I were away recently. We did extended Interstate miles and observations I had made about the drivers in WI and a neighboring state held true again. The neighboring state the drivers tend to stick very much to the speed limits. If the sign says 70 mph they will drive 70 mph even though the road and driving conditions are more than capable of handling of handling 100 mph+ traffic. However, these drivers are conscientious about staying in the right lane when not passing (which for them is about all the time).

OTOH, Wisconsin drivers are faster drivers. The limit says 65 expect a fair amount of traffic to be going 80+ (I keep it to about 10 mph over and we passed many more cars in the neighboring state and more cars passed us in Wisconsin). However, WI drivers have little respect for the left lane and will cruise in that lane when not passing. That bothers me, as this is one reason the Audubon despite its unlimited speeds is safer per mile driven than our interstates.

I put this observation on a WI oriented NG some years ago and I was shocked how many people fancied themselves the pace car and if they were driving the speed limit gosh-darnit that meant they were not slow traffic (after all you shouldn't be driving faster than the speed limit).

Now, the comment relates to the Israel vs. Hezbollahlah conflict. The blog reflects a bit on the side show in Gaza so the link is not completely irrelevant. However, the blog does not address a previous comment made by a regular reader. The comment is not pushing v1@qr@ (or similar) or pr0n however these sorta comments always link to Fox News. I suspect someone is being paid by Fox News to push their website via blogs. I don't mind as I prefer Fox News to the Caliphate News Network. Just wondering.

Anyone know anything more about this? Or am I being paranoid?

A Monument to Idiocy

Was on The O'Reilly Factor last night (Monday July 31). He was on O'Reilly's show trying to make the claim the fight between Israel and the Palestinians was race based because a larger percentage of the Palestinian people trace their ancestry to Africa.

What rubbish! When I was teaching in the UAE I had more Palestinian students who resembled Vikings than Africans. Of course, I had students from the African continent (Guinea, Somalia, some were local with Sudani ancestry, etc). But I never recall having a Palestinian student with African roots.

Mel Mel Mel?

Oh my Mel Gibson is in trouble. He should be, drunk driving is not a good thing.

However, his commentary, why the big deal? Because his enemies were looking for ammo to use against him. Also to be fair in vino veritas (in wine there is truth) as the arresting officer states alcohol accentuates a person's internal characteristics.

What I find ironic is those who scream about the '50s blacklist have their own blacklist. Well, Mr. Gibson realized sometime ago he can not depend on them and set himself up.

A stark contrast to a drunk driving arrest I saw on COPS last weekend. The guy arrested complimented the cops on their professionalism and courtesy.
